Omega course and Bulgaria

Well it was about time we made some good use of our Website, so let's blog! The last few weeks have been interesting for us as Beautiful Feet, especially if we compare them with the first months of 2011.

The first months of 2011 were almost completely without 'performances' and the band nights were good but a bit quiet. There were no exciting plans, nothing to practice for and no plans for anything special. We did struggle (and still are struggling) with our internal processes like our vision, who we are as a group, what we think is important for us and more even what we think God want for us for the season we're in, and it has been stirring but good.

The last weeks though have been a bit different. We re-viewed our vision and distilled different prayer foci out of it, being: The Netherlands, Israel and Bulgaria, we also decided on accepting a new band-member, who will be properly introduced when it is time, we are now trying to organize something special for our Bulgarian friends: the Gerdzikov family (more info on that later), and last but not least, we are doing the IHOP Omega Course every other week. It's good stuff about the end-times and we think crucial for the body of Christ in this hour! Also most of the BF members will be attending the DPN summer school in July/August and some are part of the DPN summer school prep team. Things are definitely moving. I hope this blog will be a nice platform for us to let you be part of what is going on in our group.

I think we as BF are really maturing (and wanting to mature) in combining being a worship band (and some of the fun and official stuff that comes with that) with being a family and house group, and I think you all can expect some updates and info in both area's. We like to gig and rock the stage as a band, but our primary focus will always be our family and relationships with God, and each other. I hope I can get some more band members to blog and have this site updated,because I think we will have good stuff to share as we are discovering God's heart for nations, learning about the end-time and as we are getting our behinds "out there" more, to help the world encounter Jesus.
